What is Women Empowering Women?

Women Empowering Women is a networking group for women. We offer a supportive enviornment for women to come together to promote their business, share ideas, leads, and have fun!

How does Women Empowering Women work?

WEW currently has three types of events.

• Meet and Mingle: At each Meet and Mingle there are two sponsors and four vendors who have a display table, where the business owner is able to showcase their product or service, and gives a five minute for sponsors and one minute for vendors presentation. The goal at this meeting is to build business relationships through fun and effective networking. This is an evening event, from 5:30-7:00pm, we have approximately 20-40 women who attend each meeting. The door fee is $15, no pre-registration is required. In addition, once a quarter we make this event co-ed.
• Empower Hour: This is a monthly luncheon event from 11:30-1:00 (you bring your own bag lunch) where we make education the focus. Each month is a different topic with a different speaker. We want to help the ladies of WEW learn about all aspects of business from other savvy businesswomen. We average approximately 20 women at these events, and the cost if $15 if you pre-pay, and $25 at the door. To pre-pay please contact the event coordinator for your area.
• Focused Females: A monthly luncheon event from 11:30-1:00 (you bring your own bag lunch). This event is like Speed Networking except you don't get up and move to different tables. Each women stands up and has two minutes to share about their business. The cost is $15 at the door.

Is there a membership fee?

We do not have a membership therefore, there are no membership fees.

How do I advertise on the WEW directory?

Our website receives thousands of hits every month. This is an excellent way to reach the target market you have been looking for...women!

The content of the ad is your business name, your name, tag line, phone number, email, 2x3 photo and website, which links directly to your website. All of this for only $99 for the entire year! For more information, please visit our Directory Section.

How do I sign up for the WEW weekly email newsletter?

To receive our weekly newsletter return to the Home page, at the top or bottom of the page it will ask you to enter your email address. Once you have entered your information you will receive a confirmation email. You must confirm the email to receive the newsletter. We do not under any circumstances sell your information or "cyberstalk" you. If at any point, you wish to discontinue receiving the newsletter, simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter.

What area are the ladies from that attend WEW meetings?

When you attend a WEW event you will meet ladies from Portland, Clackamas, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, Tigard, Salem, Vancouver and much more!
